After nine years of an academic journey, God placed it in my heart to give back to students who have a dream to attend college. Secondly, mental health is a close and personal matter of the heart for me. 

This is solely a personal scholarship established in memory of my mother. Her tragic death by way of suicide hit my brothers' and sisters' lives in ways unimaginable. But God...we survived. There are situations that take place in your life that turn the pain into something you can contribute back in memory of a loved one. Mental Health is real.
