Mission

On February 19th, 1973 I was an 11-year old black male being the middle child of five siblings who suffered the tragic loss of suicide of our dearest mother who was 29 years old.  My world changed forever and through all of this, there was no counseling or intervention to help me deal with this tragedy. It was only through my faith in God that I survived this experience. At the age of 18, I experienced my own psychotic experience that brought fear into my soul. I am thankful today I survived and recovered from this great experience in my life. There is healing from a great loss.
